Pennsylvania Licensed Private Lands Forester

A company is looking for a Private Lands Forester.

Key Responsibilities

Implement sustainable forest management practices on private lands in collaboration with various partners

Conduct landscape and forest stand examinations and provide technical assistance for conservation practices

Develop conservation plans for landowners and promote forest health programs through presentations and informational programs

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in forestry, wildlife management, or a related conservation field, with two years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in forestry or wildlife

Knowledge of professional forestry management principles and practices

Experience with forest stand analysis modeling software, such as SILVAH

Familiarity with Farm Bill Programs, including EQIP, CSP, and RCPP

Valid driver's license and ability to navigate off-road conditions
