Job Description

REPORTS TO: Test and Activation Manager

SUPERVISES: None

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is an entry level in the test technician & activation job family. Under close supervision, performs routine test technician duties in the support of higher level Test Specialists.

Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions of a simple nature.

Performs routine operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure conformance with final product specifications.

Utilizes routine manufacturing test or diagnostic equipment specific to the product.

May perform limited design activities in support of test equipment/procedures development.

Assigned to activities such as production, test, system checkouts, quality control.

Conducts defined tests and collects data as assigned.

Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions down to the component level.
