Location: Mobile, AL (Local candidates only will be considered)
Pay Rate: $32–$36/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift

Position Overview
The Planner Scheduler is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and tracking maintenance and project activities to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with performance goals. This role serves as the central point of communication between regional coordinators, field teams, and management to maintain accurate work order data, schedules, and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and schedule work orders from Regional Coordinators or on-site personnel; update and validate information for accuracy.
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for assigned team members.
- Generate and dispatch Preventive Maintenance (PM) work orders, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.
- Communicate with customers to clarify work scopes and provide timely updates on job status.
- Maintain and update work order logs for monthly reporting and compliance tracking.
- Create performance metrics, charts, and reports using applicable software.
- Review and process daily timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with procurement activities, including purchase orders, materials, and service invoices.
- Schedule and maintain team safety training records and compliance matrix.
- Maintain organized filing systems for work orders, reports, and project documentation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facility Manager, including occasional overnight travel.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5–10 years of experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) operations required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to prepare clear reports and interact effectively with management, clients, and field personnel.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
