Soliant HealthA Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available at an elementary school serving students from Kindergarten through 5th grade in Mobile, AL. This contract role is scheduled from March 2025 through May 29, 2026, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week at a single school location.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in evaluating, treating, and supporting students with speech, communication, and language disorders.
- Implement therapy plans in compliance with individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records for student caseloads.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student communication development.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of speech and language programs.
Qualifications
- Must be registered with the Board of Speech Examiners.
- AL Department of Education SLPA licensure is not required for this contract role.
- Previous experience within a school setting preferred; experience working with K-5 students is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite in a school environment.

This position offers competitive pay rates based on experience:
- $38-$41 per hour for 0-2 years of experience.
- $41-$44 per hour for 3-5 years of experience.
- $44-$47 per hour for 6-9 years of experience.
- $47-$50 per hour for 10+ years of experience.
