A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support two elementary school campuses in Mobile, AL, for a contract position running through the school year. This role offers the opportunity to work with K-5 students, delivering critical speech and language services that promote communication development and academic success in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement effective interventions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain documentation and comply with professional standards and district guidelines.
  • Adjust therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license (CCC) or Educator Certification.
  • Experience working in elementary school settings preferred.

Position Details

  • Location: Elementary campuses in Mobile, AL, including Elle Grant Elementary (535 Easterling Street, Prichard, AL 36610) and a second campus to be determined.
  • Start Dates: Second position ASAP; Elle Grant Elementary position begins March 15, 2026.
  • Contract End Date: May 29, 2026.
  • Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week.
  • Grade Levels Served: Kindergarten through 5th grade.
