Job Overview

As a Professional Bather with us, you'll interact with pet owners and their pets, ensuring a positive experience. You'll provide salon services and uphold our company's values. Your role involves maintaining store cleanliness, suggesting solutions for pet owners, and following pet safety protocols.

Core Responsibilities

• Complete our Splash training and safety certification
• Manage customer interactions in person, by phone, and at the register
• Welcome pet owners, answer queries, and assist with salon reservations
• Handle check-in and check-out procedures
• Perform a full range of bathing and grooming services, including nail trims and teeth brushing
• Share health and wellness suggestions with pet owners
• Ensure a safe environment for employees, pets, and customers
• Act promptly if a sick or injured pet is found; coordinate veterinary transport if needed
• Recommend and sell products and services
• Maintain clean store standards
• Assist in other departments when needed
• Engage in our culture of belonging and recognition
• Adhere to all company policies and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Skilled in computer applications
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Flexible scheduling - availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and safety
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Physical and Work Requirements

• Stand, walk, climb ladders, and use hands for various tasks
• Frequently engage in physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, and crouching
• Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally help lift up to 100 pounds
• Work in an environment with moving parts, wet conditions, and moderate to loud noise levels
• Regularly interact with and handle live animals
