Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and iron patient laundry, ensuring timely delivery to the nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to infection control guidelines
• Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and irons
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Maintain accurate records of laundry processing and distribution
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure patient laundry needs are met
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance laundry processes and patient satisfaction

Requirements

While previous experience in laundry services is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. Our ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
