This is administrative and responsible supervisory work in assisting the Public Works Superintendent in directing the operations of the public works department.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, college level coursework in engineering, business administration, public administration or closely related area, preferably a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years responsible supervisory experience in public works operations; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.For details, please see the Class Specifications | PUBLIC WORKS ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT | Class Spec Details.
