General Information

This is skilled inspectional work in enforcing the ordinances and regulations governing plumbing and related installations.

CITY OF MOBILE $44,735 - $71,516

MOBILE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT $48,092 - $76,883

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, supplemented by two years of trade school or college course work in plumbing and a minimum of three years journeyman level experience in the plumbing field; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence. Possession of a current Master or Journeyman Plumber certificate issued by the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board.
