Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, ensuring clear and compassionate communication at each step
• Work closely with radiologists and referral physicians to guarantee the acquisition of high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and ensure up-to-date patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay engaged with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging techniques and proper patient positioning
