Responsibilities

• Give importance to road safety when driving tractor-trailers.
• Prioritize conducting rigorous pre- and post-journey inspections to ascertain the vehicle's road safety.
• Create optimized routes to increase effectiveness and guarantee punctual deliveries.
• Follow the specified guidelines for handling and packaging to secure the transportation of shipments.
• Ensure transparent and consistent communication with both dispatchers and customers during the delivery procedure.
• Track working hours and standard vehicle maintenance tasks effectively.
• Comply with safety measures outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) to ensure the well-being of employees and secure transportation of goods.
• Rapidly disclose any vehicle problems, incidents, or violations to guarantee adherence to regulations.

Qualifications

• The valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) is obligatory.
• Clean driving record.
• Following the DOT's specifications for physical exams and drug screenings.
• Effective organization of time and coordination of tasks.
• Well-versed in the secure and proficient handling of large and hefty materials.
• Proficient in delivering outstanding customer support while cultivating enduring connections with clientele.
• Focus on ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, with a commitment to promptly report incidents.

• The tailored 12-week training program for entry-level commercial drivers is structured to facilitate accelerated learning through a comprehensive curriculum. It accommodates individuals with varying levels of experience, from 3 months to over 5 years in the field

Preferred Experience

• Proficient in driving and managing diverse trailer options, such as dry van, reefer, flatbed, and tanker trailers.
• Familiarity with handling multiple units, combination vehicles, and the transportation of goods across various modes.
• Proficient in the care and transportation of household goods and unique cargo.
