Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Flatbed Dispatcher role located in Mobile, Alabama. The Flatbed Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching flatbed transportation services. Daily tasks will include scheduling, monitoring shipments, communicating with drivers, and providing accurate updates to clients and stakeholders. The role also involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations and optimizing route efficiency to meet deadlines and service standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in scheduling, route planning, and logistics coordination
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with drivers, customers, and team members
• Proficiency with dispatch software and systems, including the ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance standards, and transportation industry practices
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or transportation management is a plus
• Previous experience in dispatching, preferably within flatbed or freight transportation
