Job Summary of Warehouse Support Associate

You are the foundation of Floor & Decor's retail location as a warehouse associate. Compiling orders, restocking, and transporting goods whether to a customer's car or the sales floor will be your main duties. You'll be using a forklift, talking with customers, and checking inventory and orders throughout the day. The place for you is Floor & Decor if you are gregarious, well-organized, diligent, and do well in a Warehouse Support Associate. There are both part-time and full-time positions available.

Responsibilities of Warehouse Support Associate

• Exhibit a thorough understanding and compliance with the safety policies of the company. Perform tasks accurately in a fast-paced work setting.
• Commit to providing customer service that exceeds expectations and sets a benchmark for exceptional service.
• Operate and behave in a manner that is congruent with the foundational principles of the company.
• Replenish the selection of goods in our showroom.
• Follow company protocols in merchandise organization to support customers in navigating the store effortlessly.
• Hand customers the accurate products for their satisfaction.
• Helping customers locate desired items and answering their questions promptly.
• Be available to support in various sections of the store as required. Ensure that your work area is clean and safe.

Requirements of Warehouse Support Associate

• Only adults aged 18 and above are permitted.
• Familiarity with primary math knowledge.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• While experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment is preferred, it is not a mandatory qualification.
• Aptness in managing multiple assignments at the same time and succeeding under pressure. Attainment of forklift certifications from F&D.
• Obtaining certification to operate heavy machinery in states that allow it involves successfully passing a drug screening.

Working Conditions of Warehouse Support Associate:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

Physical/Sensory Requirements of Warehouse Support Associate:

• - Capable of moving, carrying, pushing, pulling, or lifting objects by maintaining a force of up to 20 pounds, frequently exerting 20-30 pounds, and occasionally exerting 30-60 pounds.
• The requirement to utilize hands and fingers for handling or feeling is a standard job expectation for employees.
• The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
