This is responsible administrative and field work in planning, organizing and enforcing the forestry functions of the City of Mobile.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Attainment of a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in forestry or a closely related field and preferably one year experience in urban forestry; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.

Special Requirement

Must possess a valid driver’s license from state of residence.

Must obtain Arborist certification by the International Society of Arboriculture within the first year of employment.
