Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join our school team in Mobile, ALfor the 2025/2026 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in an educational setting, supporting students in grades PreK12 under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as directed by the supervising SLP
• Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Document student progress and maintain accurate service records
• Support classroom teachers and staff in implementing communication strategies
• Prepare therapy materials and set up activities to support student goals
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• Current AlabamaSLPA license/certification (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working with children in educational or clinical settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work under supervision

Position Details

• Onsite, school-based role
• Full-time and part-time schedules available
