Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Upper Elementary Montessori Teacher located in Mobile, AL teaching grades 4th thru 6th. Responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging lessons following Montessori principles, facilitating individualized and group-based learning experiences, observing and assessing student progress, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment. The teacher will guide students in their academic, social, and emotional development while maintaining a prepared learning environment that encourages independence and exploration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education, with experience in creating engaging, student-centered Montessori learning environments
• Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
• Teaching and Training experience, ideally within a Montessori framework
• Montessori certification for Upper Elementary (or equivalent) from a recognized program
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Passion for fostering student growth and creating an inclusive, nurturing environment
• Prior experience in Montessori education is strongly preferred
